Merch industry veteran Greg Armstrong is on to his next Proforma (asi/300094) adventure.

“It has been incredible to serve alongside the dedicated team at Proforma’s Support Center,” said Armstrong. “As I embark on this new role, I am grateful for the support and camaraderie that defined my journey there and that will undoubtedly continue as I pivot to a new position within the Proforma family.”

Meg Erber, a well-known promotional products industry pro, podcaster, educator and volunteer, was recently named director of sales for Proforma. Erber is now heading up sales, coaching and recruitment efforts for Proforma’s Worldwide Support Center.

“Greg’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping Proforma’s success, and I am confident that Proforma will continue to flourish under Meg’s leadership,” said Proforma CEO Vera Muzzillo, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people. “We congratulate Greg on his new role and look forward to a continued partnership as we forge ahead in our mission to empower businesses worldwide.”

Proforma GPS was founded in 2001. The company specializes, in part, in doing business with the casino gaming industry. CEO Donna Raucher was Counselor’s 2023 Bess Cohn Humanitarian of the Year.

Armstrong’s resume is filled with high-profile roles at Top 40 firms, both on the distributor and supplier sides of the promo products industry. This includes time as vice president of sales at former Top 40 supplier Evans Manufacturing (asi/52840), vice president of sales (western region) for Top 40 supplier Logomark (asi/67866), and vice president of sales and marketing for Top 40 distributor AIA Corporation (asi/109480). He also owned and operated a sales consultancy for about three years.

Earlier in his career, Armstrong was a district manager of Top 40 supplier Gemline (asi/56070). He kicked off his time in promo in 1999 as director of vendor relations for distributorship Alcone Marketing Group (asi/116315).

Based on reported 2022 North American promotional product revenue of $620 million, Proforma ranked fifth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
