Hit Promotional Products (asi/61125) is gaining solid footing in the Buckeye State.
The Counselor Top 40 supplier has officially cut the ribbon on its new 800,000-square-foot facility in Fairfield, OH, located just northwest of Cincinnati. The move marks the supplier’s transition from leasing space in greater Cincinnati to official ownership of a new facility. Hit expects the site opening to double its existing regional footprint and add 100 jobs to the local economy.
The Largo, FL-headquartered supplier’s move to Ohio is a strategic one. The project was backed by a multiyear job creation tax credit from the state, along with support from economic development firms JobsOhio and REDI Cincinnati.
“Ohio puts us within a day’s drive of the vast majority of the U.S. and Canadian population, and that kind of central access is exactly what we need as we scale,” said CJ Schmidt, CEO and president of Hit Promotional Products and a member of the Counselor Power 50. “This facility isn’t just about square footage – it’s about giving our customers faster turnaround, more reliable inventory and the kind of capacity that lets us keep saying yes to bigger opportunities.”
Hit added that the Fairfield facility will serve as a hub for distribution and fulfillment operations, including work handled through the company’s logistics division, Profill Solutions. The added space significantly increases Hit’s ability to warehouse, decorate and ship promo products nationwide, supporting the company’s continued growth through new product offerings and acquisitions.
Hit’s existing network of facilities, including its Largo headquarters, will continue to operate alongside the Ohio site.
Based on North American promotional products revenue of $683 million, Hit ranks fourth on Counselor’s most recent list of largest suppliers in the industry.
