Founded in 1896, BOSKA began as a producer of specialized cheese tools and later evolved into a modern collection of knives, boards, fondue sets and kitchen essentials. According to Gemline, BOSKA’s products are crafted with sustainability and longevity in mind, with its kitchen tools carrying a 10-year or lifetime guarantee. BOSKA’s wood items are also made with Forest Stewardship Certified materials (FSC-C191180), a global certification that measures responsible forestry practices.

Like Gemline, BOSKA is a certified B Corp, aligning closely with the Lawrence, MA-headquartered supplier’s corporate social responsibility program.

“BOSKA brings a rare combination of craftsmanship, sustainability and functional design to our retail brand portfolio,” said Frank Carpenito, president and CEO of Gemline and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of the most influential people in the industry. “Their focus on creating durable, responsibly made food tools, backed by long-term guarantees, aligns perfectly with Gemline’s commitment to offering mindfully made, meaningful and long-lasting products to our customers.”

BOSKA products will also be incorporated into Gemline’s TransAtlantic Advantage program. Developed in partnership with XD Connects, the program aims to simplify transatlantic gifting by reducing the complexity of sourcing, logistics and delivery across North America, the U.K. and Europe, the supplier says.

“Our partnership with Gemline reflects our belief that meaningful impact starts with craftsmanship, longevity and intentional growth,” says BOSKA CEO Maurijn Legein. “We move forward step-by-step – no shortcuts – learning every day to refine our niche and raise the bar for durable, purpose-built food tools. By joining forces with Gemline, we can amplify this mindset at scale and challenge a market still dominated by disposable gifting. Together, we aim to offer gifts that last, inspire and reduce waste across the value chain.”

The partnership reflects Gemline’s continued commitment to bringing premium retail to the promo space. Just last week, the supplier added lifestyle and hydration brand Ringo to its lineup. And at the start of the year, the supplier became the exclusive provider of outdoor retail brand Dometic, the parent company of Igloo and Cool Gear.

Based on 2024 North American promotional products revenue of $136 million, Gemline ranks 14th on Counselor’s most recent list of the industry’s largest suppliers.
