Stahls’ Launches Genuine & Faux Leather Sheets
Stahls’ (asi/88984), the St. Clair Shores, MI-based heat printing supplier, has launched a cost-effective solution for creating custom leather and faux-leather patches with a laser engraver. The company’s genuine leather sheets – in natural, caramel and taupe – help bring custom designs to life with “rugged, yet refined branding,” according to the company.
Its faux leather sheets are animal-free, while still offering the look and feel of real leather. The sheets come in four colors: chocolate, chestnut, sandstone or black with silver shown after etching.
Each style has adhesive pre-applied for easy heat application after cutting and engraving. Faux leather provides an upscale finish on items meant to be laundered. Genuine leather is ideal for headwear, jackets, bags and totes, according to Stahls’.
International Coatings Offers Cool Sport Colors
New Cool Sport (6100 series) plastisol inks from International Coatings Co. feature a flexible curing range from a low 275 degrees F to the standard 325 degrees F. They rely on the same chemistry found in the company’s popular Cool White (7022) ink, adding strength, elongation and elasticity to inks.
Cool Sport comes in 13 brilliant, ready-for-use team- and sports-related colors. They contain a high pigment load for maximum coverage on dark garments, thus eliminating the need for under-base. They’re suitable for printing on multiple substrates, including 100% cotton, 50/50 blends, nonwoven polypropylene and some polyesters.
The colors also print well through higher mesh counts on light-color garments and can be reduced to obtain soft-hand, opaque prints, according to International Coatings. The ink is smooth and creamy with an even consistency and low tack. With a low buildup, the colors are formulated for printing on automatic and manual screen-printing presses.

Name Badges International offers a wide range of background colors and fonts, and customers can choose between a pin or magnetic-back fastener.
